Are You an Evangelical Considering Voting for Obama?

In Politics on March 1, 2008 at 5:52 pm

If you are, consider reading what Justin Taylor has posted.

I have gone on record from the pulpit here at Boone’s Creek saying that I am a single-issue voter. When it comes to my consideration of a candidate, my first question is, “How do they view the sanctity of life?” From there, everything else falls into place.

May God help our great nation!

  1. Pope John Paul II had a similar consideration. It was just slightly broader though. He said one should support which ever candidate supported a culture of life most. Of course he was anti-abortion but looked beyond just that issue.

  2. Amen, amen and AMEN! You would not believe how often i hear from evangelical Christians “You can’t be a single issue voter”…which makes me want to SCREAM! Either Obama or Hillary would be destructive to our country, but i have to think that the political leanings of Obama would be a bit worst (which is scary to think of someone being worst than Hillary Clinton.) Keep preaching the word and standing on God’s truth, and have a blessed Lord’s day.

  3. Have you seen where Justin Taylor linked to a article about obama effectively voting for infanticide, I think this is another very important article for Christians to read, especially those considering voting for Obama. http://www.philly.com/inquirer/opinion/20080228_The_Elephant_in_the_Room__Obama__A_harsh_ideologue_hidden_by_a_feel-good_image.html
